Thinking Systems will introduce a number of enhancements to its Web-based ThinkingPACS network.

2005 11 10 16 40 29 706Support for co-registration and fusion of independently acquired images in modalities such as CT, MR, PET, and SPECT has been added, along with support for hybrid SPECT/CT scanners with the addition of dedicated image fusion software.

The St. Petersburg, FL-based vendor will also show the latest release of its PET/CT fusion software. Integrated orthopedic digital templating features are now available, including a library of offerings from most orthopedic manufacturers, according to the firm.

Thinking Systems has incorporated integrated 3D processing, including multiplanar reformatting (MPR), maximum intensity projections (MIP), and volume rendering for all modalities.
