Mercury Computer Systems of Chelmsford, MA, will highlight a new release of its Visage CS Thin Client/Server software in its booth at this year's RSNA conference in Chicago.

2006 11 07 15 21 48 706The application includes a cardiac analysis option featuring quantitative and visual analysis of cardiac dynamics using 4D multislice CT data to assess functional parameters, as well as coronary artery analysis. The software can automatically compute cardiac functional parameters, such as volumetry, wall motion, and wall thickening, and data can be shown in a bull's-eye representation.

Visage CS Thin Client/Server also features improved bone removal and vessel analysis tools that improve 3D workflow, the company said. The software can be deployed on an enterprise basis, giving 3D visualization capabilities to any networked computer in an enterprise. U.S. Food and Drug Administration clearance for the software is pending, and commercial availability is expected in the first quarter of 2007.
