The Kodak DR 9000 digital radiography system was able to diagnose subtle bony abnormalities. In the opinion of the radiologists at the Olympic Polyclinic, it was subjectively equal to computed radiography. DR was effectively used to evaluate a 50-year-old coach with diabetes who presented to the Polyclinic podiatry service for management of an ulcer at the tip of the great toe.
