Instrumentarium joins Global Healthcare Exchange

Finnish mammography firm Instrumentarium has announced that it will be joining the Global Healthcare Exchange, a business-to-business consortium formed to provide an online global marketplace for healthcare products and services. The exchange, which was formed by Abbott Laboratories, Baxter International, GE Medical Systems, Johnson & Johnson, and Medtronic in March, is expected to launch in the third quarter, with global expansion planned in 2001, according to Instrumentarium.
