Toshiba America Medical Systems is debuting its Aplio 500 CV and Aplio 300 CV ultrasound systems at the American College of Cardiology (ACC) meeting in San Francisco.
Both systems feature Toshiba's 2D wall motion tracking technology for visualization and quantitative analysis of myocardial wall motion and are suitable for all premium 2D cardiac exams, according to the vendor. The systems can provide on-board cardiac quantification measurements in all directions, Toshiba said.
Other additional cardiac-specific technologies on Aplio 500 CV and Aplio 300 CV include tissue enhancement, Advanced Dynamic Flow (ADF), lateral gain controls, tissue Doppler, stress echo, Flex-M mode, and Auto-IMT, Toshiba said.
