GE deploys ApexPro FH telemetry system

GE Healthcare of Chalfont St. Giles, U.K., has completed the first installation of its ApexPro FH telemetry system at Memorial Hospital North in Colorado Springs, CO.

ApexPro FH is designed to provide the hospital with a single, integrated, wireless platform that enables patient data to be securely coordinated, managed, and distributed without the communications failures, interference, or interruptions associated with unintegrated systems.

The medical telemetry system gives Memorial North a capacity of as many as 640 patients on the wireless patient monitoring system, according to GE.
