Strong overseas sales helped propel Del Medical Systems Group to solid growth in fiscal 2007 second-quarter revenues, while the division's operating profit doubled.

Del reported $23.9 million in second-quarter sales, up 25.6% compared with the $19 million posted in the same period a year ago. For the quarter (end-January 27), the Franklin, Park, IL-based firm had an operating income of $2.6 million, compared with operating income of $1.3 in the second quarter of fiscal 2006.

Del Medical Systems is a division of Del Global Technologies.
