GE debuts women's reproductive assessment software

GE Healthcare has introduced SonoAVCfollicle software for its Voluson i ultrasound platform at this week's annual meeting of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) in San Francisco.

With 3D ovarian volume, SonoAVCfollicle calculates the number and volume of the fluid-filled follicles containing hormone-producing cells and a maturing ovum, according to the Chalfont St. Giles, U.K.-based vendor.
