Medsphere inks Oroville EHR deal

Electronic health record (EHR) developer Medsphere Systems has signed a five-year agreement to supply and deploy its OpenVista EHR product at Oroville Hospital in Oroville, CA.

The 153-bed acute care facility will implement the bulk of the OpenVista platform, including patient information management, pharmacy, and radiology applications, as well as a clinical information system enabling computerized order entry by Oroville's lab, pharmacy, radiology, respiratory, physical therapy, and dietary departments, according to Aliso Viejo, CA-based Medsphere.
