Jay Miller named to lead Zonare

Ultrasound technology developer Zonare Medical Systems has appointed imaging industry veteran Jay Miller as its new president and CEO, the Mountain View, CA-based company announced.

Miller replaces Zonare's former CEO, Donald Southard, who has resigned. Most recently, Miller served as president and CEO of Kappametrics, a company that develops products for the combined electroencephalography and MRI markets. He also has served as president and CEO of Vital Images, worked in the cardiology segment at GE Healthcare, and worked in the MR business at Siemens Healthcare, Zonare said.
