IBA starts shipments from new Italian facility

Belgian nuclear medicine products firm Ion Beam Application (IBA) of Louvain-la-Neuve has begun distribution of PET radiopharmaceuticals from a facility in Rome, Italy.

The Rome site will serve the central regions of Italy, providing FDG and research isotopes such as iodine-124 and I-124 MIBG.

The IBA Molecular distribution network now includes 34 radiopharmacies around the world, the company said.
