Biodex debuts new PET table

Medical imaging table and accessory supplier Biodex Medical Systems has introduced a redesigned version of its PET Unit Dose table.

New features include a compact L-Block shield with a built-in dose calibrator shield, according to the Shirley, NY-based firm. Once Biodex's Dose Calibrator Chamber is placed in the shield, the chamber support shelf provides 1-inch thick lead shielding, the company said. It also includes a built-in PET Sharps container steel shield that's lined with an inch of lead.

In addition, the dose calibrator display unit mounts on a stand above the countertop, while two shelves provide storage space for PET shipping containers, syringe shields, and other small items, Biodex said.
