USTeleradiology/USTelemammography

(Booth 2535) Atlanta-based USTeleradiology and USTelemammography will showcase their diversified business model, designed to offer daytime final-read subspecialty services for pediatrics, neuroradiology, mammography, and body scans by fellowship-trained radiologists.

For telemammography, the firm has employed specialists in breast imaging to provide services for those portions of the U.S. that are underserved, such as rural communities and Native American populations. The company considers its services as supplemental to radiologists onsite and includes noncompete language in its contracts.

In April 2008, the firm completed its acquisition of NightHawk Pros to diversify its business model further, while leaving NightHawk Pros as an intact company. This provides the combined enterprise with three platforms to ensure redundancy and disaster recovery.
