(Booth 1505) Aris Teleradiology of Hudson, OH, will highlight its IT infrastructure, which includes two fully redundant servers housed in different locations on separate power grids.
Founded in 2006 and owned by Summa Health System in Akron, Aris began building its client base in mid-2007 and currently employs 58 radiologists, all of whom are subspecialty-trained professionals.
At RSNA 2008, Aris will discuss its new telemammography service. The company also will describe a work-in-progress business plan that involves building a radiology reading center in Hawaii to be leased to radiology groups for use in covering their own nighthawk needs. A radiologist in Hawaii interpreting studies from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. can cover the midnight to 7 a.m. shift in the U.S. Eastern time zone.
