Calysto is a point-of-care electronic charting, monitoring, reporting, and billing package, for interventional radiology suites, said the Melbourne, FL-based vendor. It offers dual computers, high-resolution flat-panel color monitors, a LaserJet printer, and uninterruptible power supply (UPS).

Calysto has an integrated 12-lead ECG, and can handle invasive pressures, noninvasive blood pressure (NIBP), SpO2, respiration, CO, and optional end-tidal CO2 procedures. All data and patient information is stored in an embedded database and is retrievable on demand. Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) requirements for patients receiving conscious sedation may be user-defined, recorded, and automatically integrated into a final report, Witt said.

The package is cleared by the FDA, and is available worldwide at a price point of $40,000, the company said.
