(Booth 209) TeraRecon of San Mateo, CA, will show expanded capabilities of its Aquarius iNtuition Client software, which is now available for purchase as a server-side upgrade or in a per-user configuration.

2008 11 05 12 57 51 885 Terarecon Adv 2008The iNtuition server-side upgrade gives all users of AquariusNET Server simultaneous access to iNtuition Client features. The recently released Aquarius i5 and i10 configurations provide for a specific number of users to enjoy guaranteed access and the ability to each open large studies, including multiphase datasets from 320-slice and dual-source CT scanners.

Aquarius iNtuition also now supports PACS integration, thanks to TeraRecon's application programming interface (API), which allows developers to modify their PACS software code to launch the iNtuition application seamlessly from within the PACS.

TeraRecon also will show AquariusGATE enhancements that facilitate image transfers from remote facilities performing image acquisitions which then are read offsite. AquariusAPS enhancements include the ability to automatically generate coronal and sagittal batch views, prefetch prior studies for review, perform auto-anonymization functions, and conduct other tasks, according to the company.

TeraRecon's AquariusAnatomyID feature automatically labels anatomical structures in datasets, and it uses anatomical landmarks to verify the study type listed in DICOM header information to improve the accuracy of the routing and processing performed on incoming studies.
