Computer-aided detection developer iCAD of Nashua, NH, will feature in its RSNA booth SecondLook Digital, which performs CAD on digital mammography images and can process up to 30 cases per hour.

Also highlighted will be SecondLook 300, designed for clinics with midvolume case loads, and TotalLook, a software and digitizer package for clients converting to digital mammography. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration cleared both SecondLook Digital and SecondLook 300 for mammography applications this year.

CAD v7.2 reduces false markings of vascular calcifications and lymph nodes, as well as those due to film noise or linear structures. The software has up to 96% sensitivity at 2.9 false positives per case, and can detect up to 72% of missed breast cancers an average of 15 months earlier than screening mammography alone, according to iCAD.

In September, iCAD signed an agreement with Fujifilm Medical Systems USA of Stamford, CT, to sell its products via Fuji's U.S. channels.
