Arterys to launch AI marketplace at RSNA 2019

Imaging software developer Arterys plans to launch Arterys Marketplace at RSNA 2019. The platform is an open platform for the development and distribution of artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms.

Arterys Marketplace is designed to enable anyone with an internet connection to translate AI models into clinical applications, according to the company. Developer tools available on Arterys include an online deployment environment with a radiology image viewer, a scalable back end, seamless integration capabilities, and support for AI models that have regulatory approval as well as models that are research-based.

Any AI developer can share their models by submitting a URL, and users on the platform can test models on their own medical images. Arterys is inviting developers to share their content on the marketplace regardless of their development stage, and the company notes that it will not exert any editorial control over algorithms on the platform.

Arterys will be highlighting the platform at its booth at RSNA 2019.
