eHealth unveils new image sharing technology

Electronic health record firm eHealth Technologies has introduced its eHealth Connect Image Exchange Automated Imaging Workflow service at this week's 2019 Strategic Health Information Exchange Collaborative conference in Fort Washington, MD.

The new release enables external images from connected facilities to be available immediately in a local PACS or imaging system when a patient is scheduled or presents for treatment, according to the company. Nurses, clinicians, and staff can then avoid having to manually gather, import, and sort through image studies, eHealth said.

The new service is available as an extension of eHealth Connect Image Exchange.
