Fujifilm debuts breast cancer awareness campaign

Fujifilm Medical Systems USA has launched Aspire to Be Fearless, a nationwide awareness campaign aimed at improving access to breast health education and mammography screening services.

Over the course of the 18-month campaign, Fuji will be traveling to 48 states with its mobile mammography coach to offer educational opportunities for clinicians, raise awareness about the importance of screening, and provide mammograms to underserved populations in key locations, according to the vendor. The first educational event was held on June 12 in Portland, OR.

Meanwhile, mammography screening services will be available beginning in the fall of 2019 on the mobile mammography coach, which will be furnished with a waiting room and dressing room, as well as Fuji's Aspire Cristalle digital mammography system with digital breast tomosynthesis and Aspire Bellus II mammography diagnostic workstation, the company said.
