Disposable products developer Merit Medical Systems reported revenue and net income increases for its 2018 fourth quarter and the year.

For the quarter (end-December 31, 2018), the company's revenue rose to $233.2 million, an increase of 22.2% from $190.9 million in the previous year. Its revenue for the year also increased to $882.8 million, up 21.3% from $727.9 million in 2017.

Net income for the fourth quarter was $9.2 million, up from $6.8 million for the same period in 2017. Net income for the year was $42 million, compared with $27.5 million in 2017, the company reported.
