FDA clears 3D CBCT positioning software by EhmetDx

Medical device firm EhmetDx has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance for its 3D conebeam CT (CBCT) positioning software.

McLaren Proton Therapy Center in Michigan will use the software to guide the positioning of proton beams during radiation therapy, beginning December 2018, according to the company.
