Strong first-half sales drive EOS revenue growth in 2018

Orthopedic imaging technology developer EOS Imaging reported an increase in the company's revenues for the first half of its 2018 fiscal year (end-June 30) due to sales growth in Asia and North America.

EOS posted total revenue of 17.54 million euros ($20.54 million U.S.), compared with 16.46 million euros ($19.19 million U.S.) in the first half of 2017. This 7% growth was largely due to increases in sales of 36% in Asia and 33% in North America, which more than compensated for a string of postponed sales in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

For the period, the company sold 34 EOS systems, the same number as in the corresponding period last year, but at a 4% higher average sales price.
