PACS vendor RamSoft will present version 5.0 of its PowerServer RIS/PACS software at next week's RSNA meeting in Chicago.
New features include Patient Alert Pop-Ups, which allow for quick communication of important patient information to the entire enterprise or to specific members of the workflow, according to the Toronto-based firm.
RamSoft said it has also added an All Reports tab to its Referring Physician Portal, enabling viewing of all prior reports when the final report is signed.
In new business practice features, the company has added the ability for management to track both referring physicians and reading radiologists by specialty. Also, RamSoft has incorporated self-pay fee schedules, allowing for new pricing structure changes to be automatically made available to appropriate staff members.
In addition, a Block Time Entry feature enables management or users with appropriate rights to block time entry of modalities and multiple facilities from one screen, RamSoft said.
