The Department of Radiology at Stanford University Medical Center is accepting applications to two fellowship positions, each a one-year, combined Thoracic Imaging and Cardiovascular Imaging Fellowship, beginning from July 2022 to June 2023. This fellowship program is designed to provide comprehensive and in-depth training for radiologists who wish to gain expertise in both fields within a condensed schedule. The thoracic imaging component exposes the trainee to a high-volume CT practice rich in oncology and interstitial lung disease cases, as well as thoracic interventional procedures. The cardiovascular imaging component involves the trainee in a broad range of CT and MRI studies, including coronary CTA and cardiac MRI. Training will be conducted using state-of-the-art equipment and imaging software in a spectacular new hospital. The fellow will have the opportunity to teach radiology residents. In addition, approximately one day per week will be dedicated to research or quality assurance activities. The curriculum will prepare a fellow equally well for academic career or private practice. Candidate must be board certified or board eligible in radiology and qualify for medical licensure in California. Applicants should contact program administrator, Aparna Sairamesh, by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
