Responsibilities Under the direction of an Application Manager, the Ancillary Application Analyst performs troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of existing software applications and their hardware, specifically supporting six Radiology 3D post processing applications.  In this role, you will design, build, test, and support new applications and modules within your portfolio and/or service line. You will achieve in-depth knowledge of the software application, hardware architecture and operational workflows, as well as understand the policies, procedures and constraints of the clinical or business operation supported by the application. You will work with business owners, vendors, and other Information Services & Solutions (ISS) team members to evaluate and recommend solutions to complex problems and requests.

Applications Supported, but not limited to: Vitrea VES, Visage, Syngo via, DynaCad, NeuroReader and OrthoView.  Please note that some travel may be required for the purpose of meeting with clients, stakeholders, or off-site personnel/management.


* Minimum 6 years' experience in a medium to large size medical center with increasing levels of responsibilities and complexity of projects and applications 
* In depth understanding of Radiology and Cardiology workflow is required
* Experience with one, or more, of the following applications:Siemens Syngo Dynamics, GE MUSE , GE ComboLab, Carrot Medical C-suite, Philips Xper-WiTT, Lifewatch, PedCath reporting system, GE Centricity PACS,
Medicalis worklist, Nuance Powerscribe 360, CodeRyte, Radimetrics, Montage,
MagView, Hologic and Aegis, LifeImage, MLK and OIC applications and network
* Awareness of database administration, managing server hardware, storage and backup devices
* Knowledge of HL7 and DICOM Standards
* Broad and/of in-depth knowledge of multiple areas of focus in application specialty areas, including design, development, implementation, user support and training, maintenance, quality assurance, and system testing and evaluation
* Demonstrated  proficiency with information systems technology, which also includes Microsoft Office Suite, email, intranet, internet, and other systems
* Demonstrated skill in system workflow and business process flow analysis and design
* Bachelor's Degree in health care information technology, computer science, or related area, and/or equivalent combination of experience/training
