The Department of Radiology at the University of California, Davis is recruiting for two full-time abdominal imaging radiologists at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor (commensurate with experience and credentials) in the Professor of Clinical Radiology or Health Sciences Clinical Professor series. Expectations of a ClinX series is to engage in teaching, research, service and clinical work, while expectations of faculty in the HSCP series are primarily clinical and include teaching, service and scholarly and/or creative activities.
Basic requirements for this position include a MD or DO degree, fellowship trained or undergoing training in abdominal imaging, eligible for licensure in the State of California, and board certified in Diagnostic Radiology. Proficiency in all aspects of abdominal imaging including MR, CT, Ultrasound and Fluoroscopic studies and the ability to adhere to University policies and procedures is required. Preferred qualification includes a proficiency in abdominal interventional procedures.
Scholarly or creative activity is required. Depending on the level of interest in performing research, the successful candidate may join our clinician/educator track or our clinician/research track with protected administration time incorporated into each track.
The Abdominal Imaging Division currently has 11 faculty, and 3 fellows. Some division members also perform CT & US guided abdominal interventional procedures, and some participate in complex 2nd & 3rd trimester obstetric ultrasound.
