Our goal is to mentor and develop our fellows into outstanding pediatric imagers who are prepared for either academic or private practice careers. Educational lectures and conferences occur at least twice per day, and there is a good balance of clinical work, education, and research time. Fellows rotate through all modalities and gain experience in the imaging of all organ systems. The ability to focus on particular areas of interest is available in the second half of the fellowship year. The clinical and basic research opportunities are extraordinary, and dedicated academic time is provided each week for research and educational pursuits (see https://bit.ly/2QHl7YR)

The Department of Radiology consists of 37 clinical faculty, 12 PhDs, and state of the art clinical and research imaging equipment. Collegiality and collaboration are distinguishing characteristics of Cincinnati Children’s that make it one of the most enjoyable and productive places to train and learn (https://bit.ly/3hKopGu). Cost of living is reasonable and the quality of life is high, with ample cultural and sporting venues, great parks and outdoor activities, a fantastic restaurant scene, a solid economy, and strong educational institutions, all leading Cincinnati consistently to be named among the best cities to live (https://cincinnatiusa.com).
