The successful applicant will join eight fellowship trained CAQ’ed neuroradiologists interpreting images from multiple facilities including Jackson Memorial Hospital, a 1600-bed primary and tertiary care County hospital; and from the University of Miami Hospitals and Clinics. The Division of Neuroradiology trains many radiology residents and medical students and offers a one-year neuroradiology imaging fellowship (six fellows per year). There are multiple research opportunities in both basic and advanced neuroradiology, with a dedicated research magnet available. Both junior faculty, as well as more senior candidates with an academic record commensurate with experience, will be considered. Responsibilities will include providing clinical imaging services, consultation, and conferences; teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows; and engagement in research. Participation in institutional committees and professional organizations is encouraged.
The potential candidate must have completed their radiology training and have passed the ABR core exam or be ABR certified as well as be eligible for a Florida unrestricted medical license. The ideal candidate for this position will have completed a fellowship in Neuroradiology with some amount of training in advanced neuroimaging. Candidate should be eligible or CAQ’ed in Neuroradiology. Specialize in advanced neuroimaging, particularly fMRI or brain perfusion is a plus.
