The Department of Radiology at Northwestern Univeristy's Feinberg School of Medicine is seeking a full-time radiologist in the Division of Musculoskeletal (MSK) Radiology. Our department provides clinical services to patients at Northwestern Memorial Hospital (NMH) and its Northwestern Medicine affiliates. NMH is a state of the art tertiary medical center and serves as the primary teaching hospital of the Feinberg School of Medicine.
The Department of Radiology is seeking a full-time radiologist in the Division of Musculoskeletal (MSK) Radiology. Applicants must be certified by the American Board of Radiology and fellowship trained in musculoskeletal radiology. Responsibilities for the person in this role include active participation in clinical and educational endeavors within the Musculoskeletal Division. In addition to the usual clinical skill sets (Plain Films, CT, MRI, arthrograms/joint aspirations), competence at diagnostic MSK US, image-guided tumor biopsies, and fluoro guided spine interventions including therapeutic pain injections will be expected. Successful applicants will also provide a collegial and collaborative environment that will promote programmatic growth and provide excellent patient care.
Our department provides clinical services to patients at Northwestern Memorial Hospital (NMH) and its Northwestern Medicine affiliates. NMH is a state of the art tertiary medical center and serves as the primary teaching hospital of the Feinberg School of Medicine. Excellent facilities are available for all imaging modalities related to body imaging, including 2 mobile fluoroscopy units in the Orthopaedic Clinic in which we perform image-guided joint and spine injections with another slated to begin operation in September 2020., 11 CT scanners (including two Siemens FORCE DS/DE, one 128 AS+ and several 64-slice units) and 18 clinical MR scanners (including 9 3T units). Two additional units are scheduled to begin operations shortly, including a Siemens Excite, which is a recently FDA approved single source dual-energy scanner, and a Siemens Edge, which is a hybrid CT/vascular system to be used in Interventional Radiology. Finally, we have a Carestream OnSight 3D extremity CT system within the Orthopaedic Clinic. A PET-MR scanner has been recently installed.
