Mayo Clinic AZ Breast Fellowship or Combined Fellowship in Radiology

Opening for July 1, 2020 – June 30, 2021

After successfully filling all of our fellowship positions for the 2020-2021 academic year, the Department of Radiology at Mayo Clinic Arizona received institutional approval to add two additional 12 month fellowship positions to our program, beginning July 1, 2020.

Recently, we successfully filled one of those positions and now have ONE additional fellowship spot available.

Generally speaking, Mayo Arizona offers fellowships in Body, Breast and MSK.  That said, one of the things that has set our program apart from others is our flexibility and the opportunity for combined fellowships and/or extensive concentrated elective time.  This allows fellows the opportunity to focus in more than 1 area in radiology.

For our one remaining position, we are offering our combined fellowship tract to highly qualified applicants.  Opportunities include advanced training in Breast Imaging with elective opportunities in Body imaging (GI, CT, MRI), Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, and Cardiothoracic Imaging.

The Breast Imaging portion of your fellowship would include training in standard modalities such as 2D/3D mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI and image guided procedures.  Additionally, fellows would have the opportunity to train in advanced imaging studies such as contrast enhanced mammography (CEM) and molecular breast imaging (MBI). The remaining half of your year could be tailor-made to include additional areas of interest as listed above.

The Mayo Clinic Arizona Radiology Fellowship Programs have an almost 20 year history of training over 110 fellows in all areas of radiology.  We have successfully placed graduates in extremely competitive private practice and academic positions after fellowship.
