The Division of Neuroradiology in the Russell H. Morgan Department of Radiology and Radiological Science at Johns Hopkins University is seeking a fellowship trained, ABR subspecialty certified or eligible Neuroradiologist at the Clinical Associate/Assistant professor/Associate Professor level who can be either on Clinical or Clinical/Academic promotion track. This is a 100% subspecialized neuroradiology position. Non-traditional work hours and shifts may be negotiable. Leadership roles are also available within the Division of Neuroradiology and Department of Radiology. Interest in Spine Interventional procedures and Advanced Stroke imaging is a plus but not required. Compensation package and faculty rank is commensurate with experience.

This is a full-time permanent appointment. Responsibilities include fellow, resident and medical student teaching, transdisciplinary conferences with Neurosurgery, Neurology, Otolaryngology, Neuro-oncology, Radiation Oncology. There are 5-6 call weekends with in house coverage after hours provided by residents and fellows as back-up. Opportunities for protected time for scholarly activity are offered. 

 

The Neuroradiology Division at present has 20 faculty and 11 fellows catering to high clinical volume and growing clinical practice with responsibilities for all neuro imaging including CT, MRI, and Spine interventions. The Division provides a strong advanced Spine Interventional Service serving a growing patient population with national and international referrals. The Division also includes an active clinical functional MRI service that is integral to nationally-renowned Johns Hopkins brain tumor and epilepsy programs.

The University, Department and Division all host world-class research, providing an ideal environment to work with M.D and Ph.D. researchers with a wide variety of expertise. Within Neuroradiology, there are excellent research groups on functional imaging, vessel wall imaging, and MR spectroscopy. Prior research experience and future research intent is a strong plus for candidates.
