Siemens adds RaySafe dosimetry to Artis zee

Siemens Healthcare has added the RaySafe i2 personal dosimetry system as an accessory for its Artis zee angiography systems.

RaySafe i2 is designed for healthcare professionals to acquire real-time information regarding radiation exposure levels, enabling them to take immediate steps to minimize exposure, Siemens said.

Manufactured by the Swedish-based Unfors RaySafe, the RaySafe i2 personal dosimetry system is a scalable technology that features a real-time display, personal dosimeters, and advanced dose management software.

Test set images with ground truth (teal, red) and model predictions (green, yellow), with true positives (green), false positives (yellow), and false negatives (red). Predictions from the 6x-YOLOv5 ensemble trained on histogram equalized input images with a y = 0.2 avalanche scheme, achieving 0.536 precision, 0.795 recall, and 0.723 F2 score.
