ECRI report assesses surgical C-arms

Healthcare consultancy ECRI Institute has released a new analysis of several surgical C-arms.

The report features tests of two manual systems (OEC Elite CFD by GE Healthcare and Veradius Unity by Philips Healthcare), as well as two motorized systems (Cios Alpha by Siemens Healthineers and Vision RFD 3D by Ziehm Imaging).

The full report, which is available for members at the ECRI website, includes ratings for each model, key specifications, data on hospitals' interest in each of the systems, and the testing protocol.
