Agfa prepares new DR system for Arab Health show

Agfa HealthCare will present a new digital radiography (DR) system as a work-in-progress at Arab Health 2017 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

A wireless mobile imaging system, DR 100e is designed for space-limited environments such as intensive care units and pediatric departments, according to the vendor. It features the company's Musica image processing software and the same panels and workflow capabilities as its DX-D 100 DR system, Agfa said.

In other Agfa news, the company has received an order from Greenville Health System in South Carolina. The academic healthcare system will deploy Agfa's entire Enterprise Imaging platform, according to the firm.
