Agfa wins 3-year Vizient DR contract

Agfa HealthCare has won a three-year digital radiography (DR) contract with Vizient Supply.

The new group purchasing contract allows Agfa to offer special pricing and terms on its entire line of DR systems, including retrofits, mobiles, and full rooms, to Vizient's approximately 362,000 acute and nonacute care provider members. The contract also includes Agfa's third-generation Musica digital x-ray image processing software and workstation, the company said.

The contract took effect October 1 for an initial three-year term. It will automatically renew for two additional one-year terms, according to Agfa.
