Fuji gets FDA nod for digital x-ray suite

Fujifilm Medical Systems USA has received 510(k) clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its FDR Visionary digital x-ray room suite.

The FDR Visionary suite targets mid- to large-sized hospitals and health systems with applications that include tomosynthesis, energy subtraction, and long-length imaging.

Fuji also released its line of FDR Clinica x-ray components, designed to improve workflow and patient care in a variety of outpatient settings.
