Agfa to debut new DR system at AHRA 2015

Agfa HealthCare will launch a new mobile digital radiography (DR) system at the upcoming AHRA 2015 annual meeting.

The wireless DX-D 100 DR unit offers better mobility along with Agfa's Musica image processing, the firm said. It is designed for use in intensive care units, emergency departments, operating rooms, or other mobile environments.

DX-D 100 includes the FreeView telescopic column, which can be collapsed for enhanced positioning and unobstructed views. In addition, a crystal lead battery upgrade offers 30% more battery life, according to Agfa.

The company also plans to highlight its DX-D DR retrofit option, CR 15-X tabletop computed radiography (CR) system, and enterprise-wide imaging technologies.
