Carestream signs Beth Israel Deaconess

Carestream Health has received a large digital radiography (DR) order from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.

The Harvard Medical School teaching hospital has installed three DRX-Revolution mobile x-ray systems, two DRX-Evolution DR rooms, and two DRX-Mobile retrofit kits, according to the vendor. The purchases are part of the 649-bed hospital's conversion from computed radiography to DR, Carestream said.
