QT Ultrasound touts presentations on 3D ultrasound

Ultrasound technology developer QT Ultrasound has prepared several presentations discussing the use and benefits of 3D transmission ultrasound for breast imaging.

At the recent International Symposium on the Human Breast in Los Angeles, QT Ultrasound described the process behind generating high-resolution 3D transmission ultrasound datasets to create 3D-printed breast tissue.

The company is also slated to deliver four presentations on the various applications of 3D transmission ultrasound at the upcoming International Society for Optics and Photonics (SPIE) Medical Imaging conference in Houston. The presentations will cover quantitative breast density estimation and assessment, orthopedic and myopathic imaging with 3D transmission ultrasound, and other topics.
