Swissray buys Cooper's Norland assets

Digital radiography (DR) developer Swissray International has acquired Norland's bone densitometry assets from Cooper Surgical.

Norland's product lines feature bone densitometry scanners and XR-600 and XR-800 dual-x-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) tables designed for radiology suites, diagnostic imaging centers, family practice, internal medicine offices, and other healthcare facilities.

Swissray plans to maintain Norland's manufacturing facility in Fort Atkinson, WI, and will refer to the business as "Norland, at Swissray."
