Butterfly Network has released a new version of its TeleGuidance ultrasound platform that makes it possible for physicians to help patients conduct scans at home.
The new iOS device-compatible platform will protect patients from possible COVID-19 exposure in hospitals and help physicians remotely monitor chronic conditions such as congestive heart failure, according to the firm. Butterfly will start with a limited release of the platform but will launch it more broadly over the next few weeks, it said.
