Philips Healthcare parent Royal Philips said that it has formed a new 10-year strategic partnership with the University of Vermont (UVM) Health Network.

Extending an existing relationship, Philips will be supplying UVM Health Network with imaging systems, ultrasound, patient monitoring, and clinical informatics technology, as well as consulting services over the course of the decade-long deal. The goal is to help the UVM Health Network better integrate workflows across its network, which includes six hospitals in Vermont and New York.

Specifically, the partnership aims to create a consistent patient experience across the network, as well as contribute to predictability in costs, according to Philips. In addition, the health network will collaborate with Philips to streamline workflows, optimize medical technology development, and achieve operational excellence, the company said.
