DiA debuts LVivo EF on GE handheld ultrasound system

Ultrasound artificial intelligence (AI) software developer DiA Imaging Analysis said that its LVivo EF cardiac decision-support software is now available on GE Healthcare's Vscan Extend handheld ultrasound system.

Powered by AI, LVivo EF is an app that provides automated ejection fraction (EF) analysis, according to the vendor. The app can operate within the low-memory and processing-power environments of mobile ultrasound, DiA said.

GE and DiA have been working together since late 2017.
