SDMS seeks feedback on new sonography guidelines for infection control

The Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (SDMS) is requesting feedback on a new set of guidelines it proposed for infection prevention and control in sonography.

Developed by the society's Sonography Disinfection & Infection Control Task Force, the guidelines focus on the overall reprocessing, including cleaning, disinfection or sterilization, and storage, of diagnostic ultrasound transducers. The society will receive feedback via an online survey until March 31, 2018.
