Carestream completes SC ultrasound installation

Carestream Health has installed two Touch Prime XE ultrasound systems at Palmetto Health Baptist in Columbia, SC.

Palmetto plans to use the scanners for general radiology, ob/gyn, vascular, pediatric, and interventional imaging studies conducted at the 413-bed hospital and its trauma center.

Carestream's Touch Prime XE system features the company's SynTek Architecture to simultaneously provide enhanced spatial detail with increased frame rates for better visualization of moving structures. It is also designed to optimize image formation to reduce noise and artifacts.
