Change Healthcare announced that its stockholders have approved its deal to be acquired by a division of UnitedHealth.
On April 13, 99.9% of Change's approximately 222 million shares were voted in favor of the deal.
In January, the companies announced that UnitedHealth agreed to buy Change for $13 billion. Change is expected to be integrated into UnitedHealth's OptumInsight business and offer healthcare software and data analytics, technology services, and research, advisory, and revenue cycle management products.
