Integrated Document Solutions (IDS) has introduced AbbaDox Rad, a mobile DICOM image viewing application for the iPad.
AbbaDox can stream images from a diagnostic imaging source to the iPad, IDS said.
It also features standard PACS tools, such as window leveling, zoom, pan, and annotations, according to the vendor. No confidential patient information is retained on the device itself.
AbbaDox Rad is now available in the iTunes App Store for free and includes sample images for demonstration purposes. An active AbbaDox account is required for full functionality, the company said.
