Acacia inks PACS license deal with Cerner

Patent holding company Acacia Research said that its Hospital Systems subsidiary has signed a license agreement with healthcare IT firm Cerner.

The agreement covers a portfolio of Acacia patents that apply to PACS technology and resolves the firms' dispute pending in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, according to Acacia of Newport Beach, CA.
