CCHIT certifies 18 EHR products

The Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology (CCHIT) has awarded certification for 18 additional electronic health record (EHR) products for office-based physicians. A total of 55 office-based products now carry the CCHIT Certified seal, according to the Chicago-based nonprofit organization.

New certified products include MedicsDocAssistant 3.0 (Advanced Data Systems); Accelerator Graphical Health Record 4.111 (Catalis); TouchChart 3.3 (Encite); MicroMD EMR 4.5 (Henry Schein Medical Systems); IC-Chart Release 6.0 (InteGreat Concepts); Medical and Practice Management (MPM) Suite MAGIC Version 5.5, Service Release 2.1 (LSS Data Systems); TIME 7.100 (LifeWatch); CattailsMD Version 5 (Marshfield Clinic); and MEDAZ 60720.001 (MedAZ.net).

Rounding out the list are Medicat 8.8 (Medicat), MedicWare EMR 7 (MedicWare), MedInformatix V6.0 (MedInformatix), Intelligent Medical Software (IMS) 2007 (Meditab Software), Pulse Patient Relationship Management 3.1.1 (Pulse Systems), SpringCharts EHR 9.0 (Spring Medical Systems), Emrge 6.0 Release 1.0 (SSIMED), VersaSuite 7.5 (Universal Software Solutions), and Visionary Dream EMR 7.1 (Visionary Medical Systems).
